Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Aerostar International Basket/Burner system with the Balony Kubicek Basket Model K13S, S/N 408 and the Balony Kubicek Burner Model IGNIS 2 Units, S/N 749 and 750. The Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Aerostar International carabiner (snaplink).
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated January 24, 2014, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Aerostar International (Envelope, Fuel Tanks) and Balony Kubicek (Basket, Burner) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Aerostar International, Inc Model S-52A, Serial No.
S52A-3007. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
