Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system with the Cameron Balloons Basket Model, P/N CB3004, S/N 9609; Cameron Balloons Triple Burner P/N CB2703, S/Ns 462-532-433. Replace the Balony Kubicek fuel tanks with the Cameron Balloons P/N CB2903 fuel tanks, S/Ns 404, 405, 406, and 407. The Cameron Balloons Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments in accordance with Balony Kubicek Drawing No.
STC-08, dated May 15, 2014.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated June 18, 2014, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope), and Cameron Balloons (Basket, Burner, and Fuel Tanks). 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB85Z, Serial No. 959. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
