Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Aerostar International Basket/Burner system with the Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Basket, Part Number BA-263-A-001, S/N BA1280; the Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Burner, Part Number BU-008-A-002, S/N BU1389.
Replace the Aerostar International fuel tanks with the Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Fuel Tanks, Part Number CY-040-A-001, S/Ns 974 and 1084; and Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Fuel Tank, Part Number CY-030-A-001, S/N 1130. The Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Basket/Burner is installed in the same manner as the Aerostar International Basket/Burner.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated May 15, 2015, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Aerostar International (Envelope) and Lindstrand Balloons Ltd (Basket, Burner, and Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Aerostar International Model S-60A, Serial No.
S60A-3269. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
