Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Fantasy Balloons Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Balony Kubicek Basket Model K15, S/N 340; the Balony Kubicek Burner Model IGNIS 2 Units, S/N 536 and 537; Schroeder Fire Balloons fuel tank, Part Number VA70, S/Ns A2626 and A2627; and Cameron Balloons fuel tank, Part Number Worthington, S/Ns 95892J and C14839J. The Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Fantasy Balloons carabiner (snaplink).
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated August 12, 2015, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Fantasy Balloons (Envelope), Balony Kubicek (Basket, Burner), Schroeder Fire Balloons (Fuel Tanks), and Cameron Balloons (Fuel Tanks). 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Fantasy Balloons Model EIGHT-90, Serial No. 114. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
