Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Aerostar International Basket/Burner system with the Cameron Balloons Basket, Part Number CB301B-3, S/N 8411; the Cameron Balloons Burner, Part Number CB392A, S/Ns 1150-1176. Replace the Aerostar International fuel tanks with the Cameron Balloons Fuel Tanks, Part Number CB250A, S/Ns 48152J, 48129J, 48258J, and 48440J. The Cameron Balloons Basket/Burner are installed via the standard Cameron carabiners.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated November 12, 2015, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Aerostar International (Envelope) and Cameron Balloons (Basket, Burner, and Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Aerostar International Model S-57A, Serial No.
S57A-3076. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
