Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Lindstrand Balloons Ltd Basket/Burner/Fuel Tanks with a Cameron Balloons, or a Thunder & Colt, or a Lindstrand USA Basket/Burner/Fuel Tanks. Eligible Basket/Burner/Fuel Tank combinations are installed in accordance with the appropriate FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement listed on AML No. SB04095CH amended March 1, 2017, or later FAA Approved revisions.
1. FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement No. 11, Revision 2, dated February 27, 2017, or later FAA approved revision is required. 2. A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SB04095CH, amended March 1, 2017, or later FAA approved revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified balloon. 3. The modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Lindstrand Balloons Ltd (Envelope) and either the Cameron Balloons, or the Thunder & Colt, or a Lindstrand USA (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks). 4. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. 5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
