Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Jacobs shielded ignition harness on Teledyne- Continental Motors engine models per Aero-Engines, Inc. Master Drawing List AEIMDL01, revision 4, dated May 19, 1997 or later FAA approved revision. This installation must be done concurrently with STC SA00373LA which installs the modified engine on an aircraft.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of the change in type design applies to the basic engine of the specified models that are otherwise unmodified. This approval should not be extended to other specific engines of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effects upon the airworthiness of that engine. The STC holder will provide a written permission statement to each person it authorizes to use this certificate to alter the product.
