Replace Slick 6000, 6100, 6200 and 6300 series magnetos and TCM/Bendix S6-20, S6-200 and S6-1200 series magnetos with the Champion Limited Authority Spark Advance Regulator (LASARTM) ignition system in accordance with Unison Service Letter SL1-96 dated August 28, 2001, Revision G and Approved Parts Matrix included in SL1-96, or later FAA approved revisions.
1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
2. LASARTM can only be installed as a complete system. Existing magnetos must be removed from the engine prior to conversion.
3. Operation of LASARTM system equipped engines requires a minimum grade of 100 Octane Av-Gas.
4. A copy of this Certificate and AML No. SE00768CH dated October 21, 1997 or later FAA approved revision must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
