Replacement of Bendix Model S4LN-20, -21, -1209, or -1227 magnetos with Slick Model 4250 and 4251 magnetos in accordance with Slick Service Letter SL 1-85, “Conversion from Bendix to Slick Magnetos”, dated January 7, 1985, or later FAA approved revisions.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. The limitations and conditions shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet Number E-274 for the AVCO Lycoming model O-320 series of engines remain applicable.

3. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
