Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication, installation, and maintenance of the Vertical Reference Door in accordance with Heli-Trade Corporation’s Manual Number HT-STC-010, “Installation and Maintenance Instructions for Vertical Reference Door,” Revision 1, dated June 9, 2003, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision; and Process and Control Document 01-0414, “General Instructions and Electrical Requirements for Installation of Avionics or Electrical Systems into Civilian Helicopters,” Revision A, dated June 3, 2003, or later FAA-approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies only to the Bell Model 205 rotorcraft listed above. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft. A copy of this certificate and Heli-Trade Corporation’s Manual Number HT-STC-010 must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
