212 Description of Type Design Change: Installation of 155 gallon capacity external auxiliary fuel system on high skid landing gear configured helicopters or 140/145 gallon capacity external auxiliary fuel system on low skid landing gear configured helicopters in accordance with ERA Drawing 41228- 2000, Rev. L, dated April 3, 1991, or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: For high skid gear configured helicopters, FAA Approved Rotorcraft Flight Manual (RFM) Supplement Rev. 1 dated June 6, 1988, or later FAA approved revision i s required. For low skid gear configured helicopters, FAA Approved RFM Supplement dated August 20, 1991, for 140 gallon auxiliary fuel system or RFM dated November 3, 1988, for 145 gallon auxiliary fuel system or later FAA approved revision is required.
The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. I f the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
