This approval applies only to Huges model 369HM, 369HS, and 369HE helicopters which are fitted with the Hughes exteded gear (Part No. 369H9006). The approved Airglas Engineering Company, Inc. Rotercraft Flight Manual Supplement for Hughes 369HS, 369HE, and 369HM helicopters, dated 30 April 1974, is a part of this STC and must be included in the Rotoercraft Flight Manual proper when the Airglas model L-2700-369HS skis are installed.
The approval of this change in type design applies basically to Hughes model 369HS, 369HE,and 369HM helicopters only. This approval should not be extended to other helicopters of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect on the airworthiness of that helicopter. This determination should include consideration of significant changes in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage.
