Original Product - Jype Certificate Number: H11NM Make: Robinson Model: R44, R4411 Description of Type Design Change: Fabrication and installation of Classic Aircraft Products (CAP) CH-800 Cargo Hook system in accordance with Classic Aircraft Products Drawing List No. CLA-107, Revision L, dated January 30, 2004, or later Federal Aviation Administration approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model rotorcraft only. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft. A copy of this Certificate and Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft.
Rotorcraft equipped with this cargo hook system must be operated in accordance with CAP Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement No. 44-510, dated December 21, 1993, or later FAA approved revision.
This system must be maintained in accordance with CAP Rotorcraft Maintenance Manual No. 44-520, Revision 1, dated March 25, 1994, or later FAA approved revision.
NOTE: This installation includes electrical provision for operation of a remote cargo hook at the lower end of a cargo sling long line. However, no remote hook, or the operation of such, has been evaluated as part of this program.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
