The Dry System Installation incorporates a right and left tank installed on a frame that is attached to the belly and the center step sockets of the helicopter. The frame includes adjustable steel struts used for locating and support of the frame assembly.

Both the dispersal slingers (to be mounted to the bottom of each tank) and the dispersal electrical power system are intended to be customer supplied and will be approved by local authorities. The impingement of agricultural substances on helicopter structure, or its possible ingestion into the powerplant intake, etc., will be evaluated as part of the customer's follow-on approval. A representative (inoperable) dispersal slinger was installed on the prototype rotorcraft for ground and flight evaluation purposes, only, to simulate expected slinger geometric and flight characteristics.
