Replacement of Lycoming T53-L-13 series powerplant in accordance with Garlick Helicopters, Inc. Installation Instructions Report GHI-UH1-013, FAA approved January 11, 1994, or later FAA approved revision.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3. A copy of this Certificate, Eligibility List, Flight Manual Supplements and Maintenance Manual Supplement must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the modified aircraft.

4. Garlick Helicopters Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement for the UH-1B with Lycoming T53-L-13 installed, FAA approved January 11, 1994, or later FAA approved revision is required.
5. Garlick Helicopters Rotorcraft Maintenance Manual Supplement with Lycoming T53-L-13 installed is required for this STC.
6. Garlick Helicopters Rotorcraft Installation Instructions Report GHI-UH1-013 is required for the STC.
7. Compatibility with STC SR00026DE for installation of the 24" tail boom extension has been demonstrated, but is not required for this modification to the UH-1B (Restricted Category).
8. Aircraft modified by this STC are limited for use per 14 CFR 21.93(b)(4) to:
a. Agricultural aircraft operations as defined in 14 CFR 137.3, effective January 1, 1996, and for for dispensing of Fire Fighting Materials.
b. External Load Operations. Carrying in External Loads as defined in 14 CFR 133. (b) effective December 20, 1976.
