1. Installation of an Artex Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) 4000 HM System must be in accordance with Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. Installation Instructions IIN-212-002, Revision A, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved June 16, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. Operation must be in accordance with Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. Flight Manual Supplement FMS- 212-005, Revision A, TCCA approved June 16, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-212-002, Revision A, dated May 15, 2023, or later TCCA accepted revision.

4. Definition of the Type Design Change is defined in Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. Master Document List MDL-212-004, Revision A, TCCA approved June 16, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make and Model.

Certification Basis:

Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Bell Textron Inc., Model 212, is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Bell Textron Inc., Model 212, as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) H4SW for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Bell Textron Inc., Model 212, for parts changed or affected by the change is TCDS H4SW with the following exceptions:
