1. Installation of the Integrated Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) must be in accordance with RMCI, Inc. Bell 212 XRDS Engineering Change Order RMCI-000228, Revision 0, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved August 8, 2022, or later TCCA approved revision and RMCI, Inc. Bell 212 XRDS Master Data List RMCI-000224, Revision 2, TCCA approved October 6, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with RMCI, Inc. Bell 212 XRDS Instructions for Continued Airworthiness RMCI-000225, Revision 0, dated January 18, 2022, or later TCCA accepted revision.
Bell 412 Series
1. Installation of the HUMS must be in accordance with RMCI, Inc. Bell 412 XRDS Engineering Change Order RMCI-000221, Revision 0, TCCA approved August 8, 2022, or later TCCA approved revision and RMCI, Inc. Bell 412 XRDS Master Data List RMCI-000163, Revision 2, TCCA approved October 6, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Maintenance must be in accordance with RMCI, Inc. Bell 412 XRDS Instructions for Continued Airworthiness RMCI-000162, Revision 1, dated October 20, 2021, or later TCCA accepted revision.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models-Series.
Certification Basis:
Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Bell Textron Inc. 212, 412, 412CF and 412EP is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Bell Textron Inc. 212, 412, 412CF and 412EP as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) H4SW for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
