3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. A copy of the FAA approved Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS), document number 080-0414 is required for this installation.

5. A copy of the FAA accepted Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) document number 050-0535 is required for this installation.

6. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) rotorcraft Models EC135P1, EC135P2, EC135P2+, EC135T1, EC135T2, EC135T2+.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Models EC135P1, EC135P2, EC135P2+, EC135T1, EC135T2, and EC135T2+ installation of Angled Scene Lights is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Models EC135P1, EC135P2, EC135P2+, EC135T1, EC135T2, EC135T2+ is shown on TCDS H88EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, June 5, 2008, is based upon part 27 as amended by Amendment 27-44. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant/not significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
