Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication of AMC AM369D21800-501 Tail Rotor Pitch Control Assembly in accordance with AMC Master Drawing List No. AMC-01, Revision A, dated April 1, 2002, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision; and installation of this assembly in accordance with the Maintenance Manual for the rotorcraft, Document Number CSP-HMI-2, Section 64-30-00, “Tail Rotor Pitch Control Assembly, Revision 21, or later FAA approved revision. This modification must be maintained in accordance with the MDHI Service and Maintenance instructions, Document Number CSP-HMI-2, Chapter 05, Revision 25, dated April 28, 2000, or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to MDHI rotorcraft listed above only. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that helicopter. A copy of this Certificate, and the Service and Maintenance Instructions must be maintained as part of the permanent record of the modified helicopter.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
