Installation of replacement fuel cap or locking fuel cap on Bell Helicopter Models 205A-1, 205B, 212, 412, 412EP in accordance with Aeronautical Accessories, Inc. report no. AA-96134, “Replacement Fuel Cap Kit, Locking Fuel Cap Kit, Replacement Fuel Cap, Installation Instructions”, N/C, dated 8/22/96 or later FAA Approved revision.
The approval of this change in type design is restricted to the helicopters identified above only. Aircraft which have previously approved modifications shall not be modified by this STC, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any previously approved modification will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of each helicopter when it is modified in accordance with this STC. “If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.”
