Original Product⎯Type Certificate Number: H10WE Make: Robinson Model: R22, R22 Alpha, R22 Beta, R22 Mariner Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of the support assembly for the ground handling wheel on the skid tube of the above model rotorcraft in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Drawing Package Document HW9002, Revision IR, dated April 1, 2003, and Installation Drawing HW9004, Revision IR, dated April 1, 2003, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision to either of these documents. This modification does not require specific instructions for continued airworthiness. Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 43 is adequate to ensure the Continued Airworthiness of this modification.
NOTE: Micro Aerodynamics Support Assembly for Ground Handling Wheel, part number HW9002, is directly interchangeable with Robinson Support Assembly for Ground Handling Wheel part number A719-4, either part may be installed at any time without effecting the airworthiness of the rotorcraft.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above rotorcraft only.
This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effects upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
