H2SW Bell Helicopter Textron 206L, 206L-1, 206L-3 Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a camera view port in the floor of the passenger cabin, in accordance with FAA Approved Aspen Helicopters, Inc. Master Data List MDL040631, Revision “A” dated May 8, 2004, or later FAA Approved Revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. The approval of this modification applies to the above noted aircraft model series only. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This is a “provisions only” configuration and removal of either camera view covers is prohibited without further assessment of the configuration by the FAA. Any subsequent installations utilizing the provisions approved by this STC must be evaluated for both egress and occupant safety.
Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Aspen Helicopters, Inc. Document ICAAH206001, Revision N/C, dated April 13, 2004, or later FAA accepted revision must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.
