ACE Aeronautics, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 030-ICA-39012, Revision E, dated 12/8/2025, FAA approved 4/6/2026 or later FAA accepted revision are required to be made available at installation. ACE Aeronautics, Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) 030-RFMS-39011, Revision D, dated 12/18/2025, FAA accepted 4/3/2026 or later FAA approved revision, is required for this installation.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. A copy of this certificate, the ICA, and the RFMS shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

5. (Sensor Mount) The FAA has not certified the equipment for which these provisions are intended. Additional FAA approval is required to install this equipment. The FAA must evaluate the installation to ensure it complies with the applicable airworthiness standards.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the ACE Aeronautics UH-60A Nose Sensor Mount with Optional Weather Radar is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for ACE Aeronautics UH-60A is shown on TCDS R00005RC for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, July 18, 2018 (amended February 20, 2024), is based upon 14 CFR Part 29, effective February 1, 1965 plus Amendments 29-1 through 29-57.

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
