Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of Garmin G500H Avionics Display System including GDU 620 PFD/MFD, GRS 77H AHRS, GMU 44 Magnetometer, GDC 74H Air Data Computer, and GTP 59 Temperature Probe in accordance with Garmin Master Drawing List (MDL), 005-C0663-00, Revision 2, dated December 5, 2011 or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision and Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) for G500H in the Robinson R44, 190-01190-12, Revision 1, dated January 5, 2012 or RFMS for G500H in the Robinson R44 II, 190-01190-13, Revision 1, dated January 5, 2012 or later FAA-approved revisions.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft.

3. Rotorcraft modified by this STC must be operated in accordance with the RFMS identified above.

4. Rotorcraft modified by this STC must be maintained in accordance with the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) listed in the MDL identified above.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
