Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication of the Dart D205-803/D212-803 LH Pilot in Command Kits in accordance with Dart Master Document List MDL-D212-803, Revision A, dated July 21, 2011, or later FAA-approved revision. Installation in accordance with Dart Installation Instructions IIN-D212-803, Revision A, dated May 19, 2011, or later FAA-approved revision. Maintained in accordance with Dart Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-D212-803, Revision 0, dated July 19, 2011, or later FAA-accepted revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to only those Bell Helicopter Textron model rotorcraft listed above. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that helicopter.

Rotorcraft modified in accordance with this supplemental type certificate must be operated in accordance with the FAA-approved Dart Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) FMS-D212-803, Revision A, dated June 14, 2012, or later FAA-approved revision. A copy of this certificate, AML SR02233SE, FAA-approved RFMS, and the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the modified rotorcraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, t he holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
