Original ProductType Certificate Number: * See attached Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Make: Approved Model List (AML) SR02258SE for approved Model: rotorcraft models and applicable airworthiness regulations

Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of a tail rotor pedal lockout kit in accordance with the applicable master document list and installation instructions as listed on AML SR02258SE.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the models listed on AML SR02258SE only. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft.

A copy of this certificate and the applicable instructions for continued airworthiness documents as listed on AML SR02258SE, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft.

NOTE: The D119-827-011 Pedal Lock Installation consist of a co-pilot pedal lock assembly that is designed to disconnect the co-pilot’s tail rotor pedals from the flight control system when the co-pilot dual control sticks are removed, thus preventing passenger interference with flight controls.
