Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of a fixed mounted Max-Viz® Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Model 1500 to include a sensor with conformal housing and power supply displaying imagery on any FAA-approved monitor with NTSC RS-170 video interface capability in accordance with Master Drawing List, Document Number 20 09 00, Revision 4, dated November 27, 2011, or FAA later approved revision.

1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2) If the certificate holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, then the holder must give the other person written evidence of such permission.

3) Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS), Document Number 32 09 04, Revision 2, FAA approved on February 8, 2012, or later FAA approved revision is a required part of this installation.

4) Rotorcraft Instruction of Continued Airwothiness, Document Number 33 09 05, Revision 3 , dated October 28, 2011, or later FAA accepted revision is a required part of this installation.
