Original Product — Type Certificate Number: H11NM Make: Robinson Model : R44, R44 II Description of Type Design Change: Manufacture and installation of external load racks in accordance with Robinson R44 and R44II External Load Racks Construction and Installation Instructions, Revision A, dated November 2009, or later FAA approved revisions.

1. Approval of this change in type design applies to the rotorcraft models listed above only. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft.

2. A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement, External Cargo Rack “The Alaska Rack”, Revision 0, dated January 21, 2010, or later FAA approved revisions, must be maintained as part of the permanent record of the modified aircraft.

3. For Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, reference Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Document No.

ICA-1, Revision IR, dated January 4, 2010, or later FAA accepted revisions.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
