Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Airfilm Tail Utility Mount in accordance with FAA Approved Master Drawing List, AFM-AM429-10, Revision N/C, dated August 1, 2011, installed per Installation Instructions AFM-AM429-006, dated October 7, 2011, operated in accordan ce with Airfilm’s Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement No. AFM -AM429-005, dated October 17, 2011, and maintained per Instructions for Continued Airworthiness AFM -AM429-008 dated August 1, 2011, or later FAA approved revisions for all documents.
Limitations and Conditions: The tail utility mount complies with 14 CFR part 27, subpart B, Flight and C, Strength Requirements. Requirements for 14 CFR part 27, subpart F, Equipment are not addressed. This approval should not be extended to rotorcraft of this m odel on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotor craft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
