Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of the Simplex Model 347 aerial dispensing of liquids system in accordance with Master Drawing List (MDL) MDL347, Revision B, dated November 18, 2015, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision and Installation Manual 347-102002-001, Revision A, dated November 19, 2015, or later FAA-approved revision; maintained in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 347‐102005‐001, Revision A, dated March 21, 2016, or later FAA-accepted revision; and operated in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) 347-102003-001, Revision A, signed April 7, 2016, or later FAA-approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model rotorcraft only.
This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft.
A copy of this certificate, the MDL, the Installation Manual, the ICA, and the RFMS must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified rotorcraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
