Model: 206B Description of Type Design Change:
The installation of an External Equipment Pod to be done in accordance with MARTEC Technical Report TR-07-07-II, dated May 25, 2007, revision NC, or later Transport Canada approved revision.
1. Operation must be in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement, MARTEC document TR-07-07-AFMS, dated June 27, 2007 revision, or later Transport Canada accepted revision.
2. Maintenance must be in accordance with MARTEC Technical Report TR-07-07-II, dated May 25, 2007, revision NC, or later Transport Canada accepted revion.
3. Prior to pod installation the machine has to be equipped with the BELL 206 Cargo Hook Kit as per Bell Helicopter Document:
BHT-206-SI-94, revision 1 dated November 6, 2003.
4. The Installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
