The FAA has not certified the equipment for which these provisions are intended. You must get additional FAA approval to install this equipment. The FAA must evaluate the installation to ensure it complies with the applicable airworthiness standards. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission. This design change must be maintained in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworhtiness, ICA, HF-CA-7-6, Revision IR, dated January 25, 2016, or other FAA accepted ICA.
