The installation of the Spectrolab Nightsun II XP Searchlight System and FLIR U8500XR Airborne Imaging System must be performed in accordance with VIH Aerospace Master Drawing List VS92-0726-NS-FLIR-MDL, Rev. 1, dated November 5, 2009, or later Transport Canada approved revision.

1. Maintenance to be performed in accordance with the following VIH Aerospace Instructions for Continued Airworthiness:

i. Nightsun Installation; VS92-0726-NS-ICA, Rev. 1, dated December 14, 2009, FAA accepted January 6, 2010.

ii. FLIR Installation; VS92-0726-FLIR-ICA, Rev. 1, dated December 4, 2009, FAA accepted January 6, 2010.

2. Aircraft is to be operated in accordance with the following VIH Aerospace Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplements or later Transport Canada approved revisions:

i. Nightsun Installation; VS92-0726-NS-FMS, Rev. 0, Transport Canada approved August 6, 2009.

ii. FLIR Installation; VS92-0726-FLIR-FMS, Rev. 1, Transport Canada approved November 6, 2009.

3. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other pe rson written evidence of that permission.
