1. Installation of an Aerazur-Zodiac Group Internal Auxilary Fuel System (IAFS) Completion Kit Part Number (P/N) 508617-3 in accordance with Master Drawing List S92 Internal Auxiliary Fuel System, AERAZUR doc. # 508617-3, Revision 11, dated September 23, 2010, and operated in accordance with the EASA Approved S92 Internal Auxiliary Fuel System Flight Manual Supplement, AERAZUR doc. # 060S437, Revision 17, dated February 21, 2012.

2. The following Aerazur-Zodiac maintenance documents are required with this installation:

– AERAZUR Internal Auxiliary Fuel System – Completion Kit – High Profile (HP) Version, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Supplement, doc. # S92 IAFS-ICAS-002, Revision 5, dated February 10, 2012.

– AERAZUR Component Maintenance Manual for S92 IAFS – Fuel Tank Bladders P/N 508700-2 and 508731-2, doc. # 28-12-03, Revision 0, dated December 21, 2009.

– AERAZUR/INTERTECHNIQUE Component Maintenance Manual for Fuel Control Unit (FCU) P/N 738705-1- 1 508636 (Aerazur) doc. # 28-41-43, Revision 0, dated March 15, 2010.

– AERAZUR/SIRIO PANEL Component Maintenance Manual for Fuel Management Panel P/N 727-0860/01 and Fuel Management Panel NVIS Version P/N 727-0860/10, doc. # 28-20-01, Revision 1, dated February 23, 2010.

– AERAZUR Aircraft Maintenance Manual Supplement for Internal Auxiliary Fuel System – Completion Kit – High Profile (HP) Version – Sikorsky Helicopter Model S-92A, Chapters 11 and 28, doc. # S92 IAFS-AMMS- 002, Revision 7, dated December 6, 2010.

1. The IAFS aft fuel tank cannot be installed without the installation of the forward fuel tank. When only one IAFS fuel tank is installed, it must be the forward tank.

2. The IAFS Completion Kit can be installed only on S-92A helicopters equipped with:

– AERAZUR IAFS Provision Kit P/N 509429-02 or 509429-03, approved under FAA STC SR02567NY.

– S-92A Avionics Modernization System (AMS), Version No. 091-2527-007 (Sikorsky Release 4.1).

3. As defined in the Limitations section of FAA STC SR02567NY, when including the specific Sub-kit P/N 511513, the Completion Kit P/N 508617-3 can be associated only with:

– the Provision Kit P/N 509429-03 including the specific Sub-kit P/N 511844, and – the cabin seat configurations listed in § 5 of AERAZUR document # 061S019, Revision 11, dated February 14, 2011.

4. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

6. IAFS Completion Kit P/N 508617-3 can include the Fuel Management Panel (FMP) P/N 506818-1 equipped with Night Vision Goggles (NVG) compatible lighting. This STC does not authorize operation of this FMP with NVG. Authorization for operation with NVG must be covered by a separate design approval.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the S-92A installation of an Aerazur-Zodiac Group Internal Auxilary Fuel System (IAFS) is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Sikorsky Model S-92A series rotorcraft is shown on TCDS R00024BO for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Sikorsky Model S-92A series rotorcraft is shown on TCDS R00024BO for parts changed or affected by the change.
