Description of Type Design Chang e:
1. Installation of an Externally Mounted Life Raft (EMLR) with Pneumatic Activation in accordance with, FAA approved, Installation Procedures, P-12388, Revision D, dated March 4, 2014.
2. The following Air Cruisers documents are required with this installation:
a. Aircraft is to be maintained in accordance with, FAA Accepted, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, ICA- 62-41, Revision 1, dated March 3, 2014.
b. Aircraft is to be operated in accordance with, FAA Approved, Rotorcraft Flight Manual, EDN 3598, Revision IR, dated March 20, 2014.
1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certification to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3. Mandatory replacement times and/or inspection intervals are defined in the “Airworthiness Limitations” section of Air Cruisers’ document, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, ICA-62-41, Revision 1, dated March 3, 2014, FAA approved March 20, 2014.
4. FAA STC No. SH13220SO is a prerequisite for this installation.
This certificate and the supporting data which is t he basis for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the A dministrator of the F ederal A viation A dministration.
