1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Models.

1. Installation and Configuration of Electrical Power Supply for Optional 50Amp / Longline / Carousel Systems must be in accordance with Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited Master Drawing List MDL-12-008, Issue F, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved February 21, 2025, or later TCCA approved revisions.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-AHCA-254, Revision 4, TCCA accepted February 21, 2025, or later TCCA accepted revisions.

3. Operation must be in accordance with Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited Flight Manual Supplement FMS-AHCA-152 Revision 4, TCCA approved February 21, 2025, or later TCCA approved revisions.

4. As a prerequisite, the rotorcraft must be equipped with an approved cargo hook installation and operation must be in accordance with its approved Flight Manual Supplement for the cargo hook.

5. This approval does not include the Longline / Carousel System for which the electrical power supply is installed.

6. The electrical connection between the belly-mounted power supply and any optional equipment is to be provided by the installer and must include a breakaway-type of electrical connection for use with the external load.

Certification Basis:

Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Airbus Helicopters AS350B2 and AS350B3 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters AS350B2 and AS350B3 is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) H9EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters AS350B2 and AS350B3 for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS H9EU with the following exceptions:
