Description of Type Design Change (continued):
2. Operation must be in accordance with Mecaer Aviation Group S.p.A. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement Number 6EC1RFM-1-2, Issue 1, Revision 0, dated October 14, 2020, or later EASA approved revisions.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Mecaer Aviation Group S.p.A. Owner's Manual (Instructions for Continued Airworthiness), P/N 6EC1WNM-2-2, Issue 2, Revision 17, dated October 14, 2020, or later EASA accepted revision.
2. Operation must be in accordance with "Limitations" section of Mecaer Aviation Group S.p.A. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section of this STC.
3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
4. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models.
Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR §21.115 and §21.101, and FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for this modification to the AHD Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 rotorcraft is as follows:
a) The type certification basis for the AHD Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 rotorcraft as shown on TCDS H13EU Revision 21 for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b) The type certification basis for the AHD Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 rotorcraft as shown on TCDS H13EU Revision 21 for parts changed or affected by the change.
