1. Installation of the Kodiak Tracking System must be in accordance with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved AERO Design Ltd. Document Control List DCL844, Revision 2, dated October 2, 2013, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. Maintenance of the Kodiak Tracking System must be in accordance with TCCA accepted Clean Harbors Exploration Services LP Maintenance Manual Supplement MMS844.92, Revision 0, dated January 12, 2012, or later TCCA accepted revision.

3. Operation of the Kodiak Tracking System must be in accordance with TCCA approved Clean Harbors Exploration Services LP Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement FMS844.91, Revision 1, dated January 22, 2013, or later TCCA approved revision.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the modification to the Bell 206B, 206L, 206L-1, 206L-3, 206L-4 and 407 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Bell 206B, 206L, 206L-1, 206L-3, 206L-4 and 407 aircraft as shown on the TCDS H2SW for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Bell 206B, 206L, 206L-1, 206L-3, 206L-4 and 407 aircraft for parts changed or affected by the change as shown on the TCDS H2SW with the following exceptions:

• 14 CFR Part 27 including Amendment 27-1 through 27-30

• 14 CFR 27.561(b)(3) at Amendment 27-0

• 14 CFR 27.785(a) and (b) at Amendment 27-21
