The Installation should not be incorporated in any other aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. The approval of this modification applies to the above noted airplane model series only. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent record of the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Instructions for Continued Airworthiness listed in FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SR04461CH must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.101, 21.115 and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for the UH-60A and the EH-60A Rotorcraft Installation of a Helitak FT4500 Black Hawk Fire Tank Liquid Dispensing System is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for parts not changed or not affected by this STC is as listed under the original TCDSs in the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SR04461CH.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, April 20, 2020, is based upon 14 CFR 29 at Amendment 57 which is beyond the amendment level listed under the original TCDSs in the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SR04461CH.
