1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make and Models.

1. SkyTrac Flight Following/Satcom System Installation must be in accordance with Avionics Design Services Ltd.
Master Drawing List MDL18092, Revision F, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved September 22, 2021, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Operation must be in accordance with SkyTrac Systems Ltd. Flight Manual Supplement FMS18092-1, Revision B, TCCA approved August 27, 2021, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with SkyTrac Systems Ltd. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA18092-1, Revision C, dated September 9, 2021, or later TCCA accepted revision.
Certification Basis:
Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for modified Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) H13EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH MBB-BK 117 D-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-3 for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS H13EU with the following exception:
14 CFR 29 at Amendment 29-1 through Amendment 29-55 for all models.
