Description of Type Design Change (continued):
2. Operation must be in accordance with Maxcraft Avionics Ltd. Flight Manual Supplements FMS-34-45-00-047, Revision A, TCCA approved July 12, 2019, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Maxcraft Avionics Ltd. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-34-45-00-047, Revision A, TCCA accepted July 11, 2019, or later TCCA accepted revision.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.
4. Operation must be in accordance with "Operating Limitations" section of Maxcraft Avionics Ltd. Flight Manual Supplements FMS-34-45-00-047, Revision A, TCCA approved July 12, 2019, or later TCCA approved revision.
Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification to the Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B2 and AS350B3 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B2 and AS350B3 as shown on TCDS H9EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B2 and AS350B3 as shown on the TCDS H9EU for parts changed or affected by the change with the following:
Title 14 CFR Part 27 including amendments 27-1 through 27-47 as applicable.
