Description of Type Design Change: Installation of external auxiliary fuel system in accordance with Era Aviation Drawing List No. 41228-3000, Revision P, dated August 2, 2005, or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and ConditionsThis installation complies with the crashworthy requirements of 14 CFR § 29.952 and the lightning protection requirement of § 29.954. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) No. 41228-820, dated January 16, 1996, or RFMS No. 41228-823, dated September 9, 2005, or later FAA approved revisions is required.
External Auxiliary Fuel System Maintenance Manual Supplement to Era Aviation Services Maintenance Manual, Report No. 41228-43, Revision C, dated August 22, 2005, or later FAA accepted revision, is required. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of this permission.
