Original Product -- Type Certificate Number : H2 SW Make: Bell Model: 206B S/Ns 4481 & 4493 Description of Type Design Change: Compatibility of Texas Aviation Services auxillary lighting system and filters as installed in accordance with STC SR09334RC with Litton M949 Night Vision Goggles (NVGS).
Limitations and Conditions: This modification is limited to Serial Nos. 4481 and 4493 only.
STC SR09334RC must be installed. Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. NVG Special Operations Course, Document 001, Revision 1, dated July 9, 2003, or later FTW-AEG approved revision is required. Operation is limited to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. conducting 14 CFR 141 training. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS), Revision A, dated July 9, 2003, or later FAA approved RFMS is required. The Night Vision Goggles (NVG) listed in the REMS and in FIW-AEG operations and training documents have not been approved by this STC. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
