Description of Type Design Change: Installation of main rotor blade grip with modified root radius and matching adapter in accordance with Helicopter Tech, Inc., Drawing List R47-120-252-1000, Revision IR, dated May 15, 2002, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: FAA approved Airworthiness Limitation Section dated October 17, 2002, or later FAA approved revision, of Helicopter Tech, Inc. Maintenance and Overhaul Instructions, Document No. STC-27-092702 is required. The installer must determine compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
