Description of Type Design Change: Evaluation of Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compatible equipment as installed in accordance with STC SR09352RC for operation with ITT F4949 Night Vision Goggles.
Limitations and Conditions: This modification is limited to helicopter serial number 4200 only. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement dated May 16, 2003, or later FAA approved revision is required. Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. NVG Training Program, Document Nos. ASU-2003-1 and ASU-2003-1A dated May 12, 2003, or later FTW-AEG approved revisions are required. Operation is limited to Air Carrier that conducts on-demand and 14 CFR 91 operations. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
