Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Concorde Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Battery, Part Number RG407A1, in accordance with Falcon Crest Aviation Supply, Inc., Master Drawing List FC-020, Revision A, dated February 24, 2003, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Applicability of this modification is limited to Bell Model 407 rotorcraft, equipped and operated under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) only.

Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS), dated June 12, 2003, or later FAA approved RFMS is required. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Falcon Crest Document CAW407, Revision IR, dated February 24, 2003, or later FAA approved revision is also required. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
