Description of Type Design Change: Installation of External Life Raft Deployment System in accordance with CHC Scotia Limited Report Number CHCE-2500-006, “Installation Instructions for Aero Seats and Systems, Inc., Mod ASI 500-100 01/02”, Revision -, dated January 18, 2006, or later FAA approved revision. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement, S-76-500-FMS, Revision IR, dated March 1, 2006, or later FAA approved revision is required. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Report Number ICA:
S76-500-01, Revision 1, dated March 9, 2006, is required.
Limitations and Conditions: You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Sikorsky S-76, Serial Number 760183. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
