Installation of Heritage Aviation Ltd. Cabin Extension, STC SR09470RC, and VIP State Interior, STC SR09471RC, are required to be installed in conjunction with the Aft Cabin VIP Lavatory. The Aft Cabin VIP Lavatory is not compatible with any standard aircraft seating installations defined on the Sikorsky S92A TCDS. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

The certification basis for this modification is the same as defined on Type Certificate Data Sheet R00024BO, FAR Part 29 through Amendment 29-47, with the following additional requirements:

1. Policy Guidance for Lavatory Installations on Rotorcraft, PS-ASW-100-2005-01.

2. If it is necessary to pass through a doorway separating the passenger cabin from other areas to reach the required emergency exit from any passenger seat; the door must have means to latch it in the open position. The latching means must be able to withstand the loads imposed upon it by the door when the door is subjected to the inertia loads resulting from the ultimate static load factors prescribed in 29.561(b)(3).
