Installation of IFR Single or Dual Pilot WAAS GPS upgrade in accordance with Drawing List 135A82-8024, Rev J, Dtd 14 Dec 2010 or later ODA approved revision. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) 135FMS-034 dtd 22 Dec 2010, for Garmin GNS-430(A)W installations, or RFMS 135FMS-035 dtd 22 Dec 2010, for Garmin GNS-530(A)W installations or later ODA approved revision is required. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 135MMS-017, Rev -, Dtd 22 Nov 2010 or later FAA accepted revision is required.
Prior to or concurrently with the installation of this STC, the Type Certified Dual Pilot/Single Pilot or Single Pilot Dual Garmin GNS 430W installation, or FAA approved GNS 530W substitution(s) for the Type Certified GNS 430W(s); and Type Certified MEGHAS part number C19267ZG-12 SMD-45 display(s) must be installed. This installation is not compatible with Helicopter Terrain and Warning System (HTAWS) functionality of the GNS 430W/530W and HTAWS cannot be enabled when this STC is installed.
Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. “If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.”
