For 155A73-0021-01 configuration (dual Garmin GPS 400W system), Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement 155FMS-013, Rev IR, dtd.19 Aug 2013 or later ODA approved revision, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 155MMS-021, Rev. IR, dtd. 16 May 2013 or later ODA or AEG accepted revision are required.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. For 155A73-0021-02 configuration (dual Garmin GTN 750 system), Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement 155FMS-015, Rev IR, dtd. 7 July 2020 or later ODA approved revision, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 155MMS-022, Rev. IR, dtd. 7 April 2020 or later ODA or AEG accepted revision are required.

Certification Basis: Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101 and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis is the same as TCDS H10EU Rev. 20, 1/10/2014 with the following exception: FAR 29.773 at Amendment 29-57.

3. For 155A73-0021-01 configuration (dual Garmin GPS 400W system), this STC is limited to helicopters equipped with the following:

(a) Type Certified Dual Pilot/Single Pilot or Single Pilot, Dual Garmin GPS-400WGPS/400W installation EC catalogue option 08-43056-00-C1

(b) Type Certified MEGHAS SMD-45 Primary and Navigation Displays part number C19267YA02

(c) TSO Certified Garmin Software Main Version 4.01 part number 010-00-44-6-11 or later FAA TSO approved

For 155A73-0021-02 configuration (dual Garmin GTN 750 system), this STC is limited to helicopters equipped with the following:

(a) Type Certified Dual Pilot installation AH catalogue option 08-43075-00-CI

(b) Type Certified MEGHAS SMD-45 Primary and Navigation Displays part number C19267YA02

(c) TSO Certified Garmin Software Main Version 6.11 and 6.51 are approved

4. For 155A73-0021-01 configuration (dual Garmin GPS 400W system), EC catalogue option 08-43056-00-C1, the installation is not compatible with Helicopter Terrain and Warning System (HTAWS) functionality of the GPS-400W and HTAWS cannot be enabled when this STC is installed.

5. For 155A73-0021-01 configuration (dual Garmin GPS 400W system), EC catalogue option 08-43056-00-C1, LPV GPS approaches are NOT AUTHORIZED when the intermediate course (segment between Intermediate Fix (IF) and Final Approach Fix (FAF)) is not aligned within 2-degrees of the final approach course.

6. For 155A73-0021-02 configuration (dual Garmin GTN 750 system), AH catalogue option 08-43075-00-CI, GPS/LPV and LP GPS approaches are NOT AUTHORIZED when the intermediate approach course (segment between Intermediate Fix (IF) and Final Approach Fix (FAF)) is not aligned within 45-degrees of the final approach course.

7. For 155A73-0021-02 configuration (dual Garmin GTN 750 system), AH catalogue option 08-43075-00-CI, MOD 07.22B72 must be installed to address AD 2012-15-04 and 2014-26-02 for helicopters equipped with AMP2000 Auto Pilot Module interfaced to GTN 750 navigation units.
